New Wirtex/ETSA study shows environmental benefits of textiles over paper

External communication documents were sent to members on 16 January: full study, executive summary, flyer, press release and slides.

Textiles towels generate 95% less waste than virgin paper! Textiles require 48% less energy. Textiles generate 29% less CO2 (with its global warming potential). Figures are also provided for recycled paper. These are the results of the Wirtex/ETSA LCA as published in the German press on 22 November.
