ETSA is dedicating significant time and resources to Research and Innovation (R&I) through its newly established working group. The ETSA Research and Innovation Working Group aims to foster productive discussions and broaden the network of innovation within the textile services sector.
A recent milestone was the emphasis on green and digital transitions, showcasing the importance of managing these changes collaboratively. The introduction of a new partnership strategy presented a game-changing approach for innovation and cooperation, offering practical means for the industry to strengthen partnerships and pilot projects. Several associations were acknowledged for sharing their research and innovation goals, and the technical expertise of various industry experts was instrumental in the scientific discussions.
Looking ahead, the National Associations conference will further examine the future of the ETSA Research and Innovation group. An autumn meeting has been scheduled, and during the summer, a dedicated section of the ETSA website will be developed to support the group's operations. This will provide the textile services sector with a platform for ongoing innovation, cooperation, and knowledge exchange.
