Monitoring and coordination of European industry position on PPE standards

ETSA has been active in this field for many years. Over the years we have had many successes. However, this is a time-consuming process which needs national involvement and coordination at the European level. Continuous industry efforts are needed to make sure technical standards are helpful rather than hinder our industry. While most PPE standards are targeted at manufacturers (certification of PPE), there are also standards on care and maintenance of PPE (SUCAM).
