Her interests for international relations have grown out of a passion for geopolitics, which she discovered during her studies. Margaux is considering pursuing a master's degree in international relations or defense and strategy because of this.
Outside of her studies, Margaux does sport every day, mainly running and going to the gym. Margaux is a bright, curiosity-driven, and conscientious person. Since she firmly believes that all cultures should be explored, Margaux has a special passion for traveling and learning new languages. For this reason, Margaux has been residing in Italy for the past nine months, and she intends to apply for a master's degree overseas as well.
What attracted you to ETSA specifically? Why did you choose to apply here for an internship?
I was drawn by ETSA due to its unwavering dedication to members and environmental causes, aligning with my professional values. The decisive factor was the welcoming and collaborative team atmosphere that not only complements my work ethic but also promotes personal and professional growth. The affiliation with the European institutions adds an exciting international dimension to the internship, offering the opportunity to engage with diverse perspectives and contribute to broader European goals. Additionally, the internship's promise of a diverse range of skills and experiences aligns perfectly with my goal of acquiring a comprehensive skill set and makes ETSA an ideal choice for my professional development.
Is there anything that really excites you about your work here? Is there something you would like to work on specifically?
The broad range of communication, legal, and political abilities that the association offers is what particularly appeals to me about working as an intern at ETSA. As does the promised experience of working with people from varied backgrounds, careers, and countries. Working on current cases at ETSA and learning as much as I can about how ETSA collaborates with all of its partners are two things I'd really like to do.
What are your career goals and how do you feel your time at ETSA could factor into your potential future career?
My carrer goal would be to work into a defense organization and try to understand and potentially resolve conflicts around the world. My time at ETSA will for sure expand my knowledge of international institutions, but also to work on concrete cases which will then give me more tools to access the careers.
