ETSA made a significant impact at Texcare24, a global hub for the textile services industry, hosted in Frankfurt. Over four days, the event provided a platform for industry leaders, innovators, and passionate newcomers to exchange ideas and strategies aimed at reshaping the future of textile services. During this period, ETSA hosted a booth in cooperation with several of its national associations and non-profits. ETSA would like to thank our National Associations and non-profits who participated in the stand, we were able to also have in-depth discussions and strategic meetings with many of our national associations with respect to the issues that are most concerning them domestically and how ETSA, representing the European side, can help at the national level. We also established a robust framework for future cooperation and synergy on key issues.
Key discussions with national associations, laundries and suppliers revolved around sustainability, circular economy principles, and innovations in textile care, recycling, and eco-design. ETSA's involvement, led by Chairman Dr. Thomas Neyers, showcased the association's commitment to promoting sustainable practices and fostering collaboration among its members and partners.
A highlight of the event was the series of panel discussions hosted by ETSA, featuring esteemed experts such as Melanie Deppe (CWS), Jonas Stracke (Textil+Mode), Egle Hammering (ELIS), Jan Lamme (CIBUTEX), and Vincent Siau (Alsico). Topics ranged from extending product life cycles to exploring cutting-edge strategies for zero-waste solutions. Dr. Thomas Neyers, and Melanie Deppe also participated in a pivotal DTV panel focused on sustainability and circular economy practices within the textile industry. These conversations underscored the importance of innovation and strategic partnerships in achieving a circular economy for the textile industry.
As ETSA members continue in their journey toward a sustainable textile future, the momentum and collaboration generated at Texcare24 was valuable.Thank you to everyone who helped us in this process!
