ETSA environment meetings review important range of issues for textile services industry

The ETSA Environment Forum took place on 1 October and the ETSA Environment Steering Committee on 2 October. This excellent two-day event gathered 19 specialists from 13 companies and associations. The discussions covered many topics, including: wastewater technologies; new laundry productivity management tools; hygiene certification programs; and EU legislation impacting textile services. Participants had the opportunity to visit the Lavans laundry in Helmond, the Netherlands, to see first-hand how the new technologies enable the laundry to substantially reduce their consumption of resources.
